Creating a user for HR because HR cannot remember that IT has a 2-day turn around policy and just hires anybody off of the streets into HR (not really I hope, but that sure is what it feels like).
You mean 2 days to do things now? Seems absurd, set up this new hire, do you have a computer for them? Are you clairvoyant to know when we're hiring people?
Sometimes we get a little busy. Computer is already prep'd and ready to go at their desk. This is more of a matter of getting network resources and email setup for the person.
Only things that take time and consideration to get done correctly so the business and IT departments don't look like fools.
I understand your plight.
