Getting ready for a soccer game then lunch with the family for Eli's Eleventh Birthday... agh - the grow up so fast..
Already reinstalled /repaired/ fixed the agent issue I have had with one Sodium install. All of the installed agents for the one client show check in at 12:20pm EDT - Not likely to happen today with Soccer, lunch and all,.. but house work and prep for spinning up another VM for a client for testing.
I haven't looked yet - but I need to verify available resources on the two Hyper-V hosts to see what I have left to work with.

Trying to not be lazy
And.... failing.
I've done a couple of things today. Problem is the list of tasks is so large, I have to remind myself that the solution is simply do one task at a time.
No hyper-threading?
Alas, no.

Going to try out GCP for a free-forever $300-12/mo credit VPS. I'm not sure what all I can do with it, but going to try it out now. At least while I'm using up the $300 credit I'm sure it'll be like a normal VPS + more, but after that, I'm not sure how functional it will be.

Looks like I can create a VM that equals about $25 per month for a year. That'll get me 1 vCPU and almost 4GB ram for a year for free.
Still looking at options. There's a lot.

Very clunky web setup and management. It's slower than others.
Navigationally it's fine, but functionally I mean.
It's not bad, though.

I'm probably going to switch from Cinnamon to Gnome 3.26. I really like the new features.

I'm starting to like GCP a bit more now. Their Android app is pretty nice. I can control my VM (the whole account) right from there so easily, and even connect SSH through the app.
Using the app is way faster and less clunky than their regular web interface.
I installed a simple MC server on it to test it out, since doing a website will not do anything for testing. I installed NGINX and get the default page when going to the http://ip.
I tested out the MC server and it seems to be running and performing just great.

The VM I made is using:
1 vCPU, 3.75 GB memory
35GB SSD
1 external IP
