We keep the windows open unless the temps get into the 90's simply because we don't like paying the power bill. I much prefer cooler temps, but a house built in 1900 is not all that insulated. I love the house, but things in my life just did not work out as I hoped when I first bought it. I could do things now to make it better, but it would not be enough to make the house good for a family of 4. So I'm just trying to sell it without loosing money. somehow that seems impossible.

In that case its valid and we are also doing that at apartment during night Cost cutting,But here at work from morning up to 10 Am is good but during 12 noon its pretty hot outside.

@Joyfano thanks, I loved the house when I bought it. Still like it, but the cost to make it comfortable for a family of 4 is just not worth the investment to me.
