What Are You Doing Right Now
-
Back with another episode of the #it-help channel.
User: I tried to forward [something] to my personal Gmail address and [got an NDR].
Me: You're welcome to put in a ticket if you wish, but know I have no control over what Gmail servers do and don't accept, nor how they route their messages. (the NDR she described seemed odd).
User: [pastes some of the NDR, which is griping about SPF records (which haven't changed in two years and have worked fine)]
Me: You're welcome to put in a ticket if you wish.

User: This e-mail isn't going through. [email protected]
Me: That domain doesn't exist. It's @domain.com not @dmian.com
User: Wow, not friendly Ian.
Me: ???????I am so done

It's even like...how are you taking that to be offensive? You received an error. I explained why you received it and then provided a comparison between the correct and incorrect entries. I don't get it

Clearly, you were confrontational in your reply by pointing out their error and providing only negative feedback without any solution or a "click here to solve the world's problems with a hashtag." Typical Ian. /sarcasm

Messing around with KVM. It's nifty that the snapshot literally returns you to the exact state. Somehow it seems more straightforward than Hyper-V. Yes, I know that's subjective.

Were these snapshots Linux or Windows VMs?
