@Tim_G yeah, that is seriously bad. "We are good because of the country we are in, beware of people who aren't from my country, they are probably bad people." That was pretty much the sum of what he said. Buy from me based on my nationality and fear other people based on theirs.

Look at the date. BackupExec was decent at one point. Tho I'd argue it was already past it's prime in 2014. I was around when it was put in place back in 2001, the original VERITAS Software did a good job with it back then.
Edit: Looks like it was 2015 when Symantec acquired VERITAS, most likely the point it started getting overly bloated and getting it's reputation for backing up but not restoring.

2015 is when they divested it. It was 2005 when it was acquired. I remember since I worked for Veritas when it happened.

You don't think it's going to take off the more ransom ware is in the news?
-
Now that the emergency of our scheduled tasks not being backed up has been solved, I'm back to putting information in the wiki.

Hmmmm... I guess that that makes sense.

Really a simple thing to determine. How is this taking time for you?
-
Took me 5 minutes. Usually drop-everything commands take much more time. I vented prematurely.
