Cool, well good luck. Are you sticking with Staples part time too?

Yup. Schedule is gonna be Tues-Sat 7a-4p to start at ShoreGroup and I'm gonna work Staples on Mondays and in the evenings.

Starting pay at ShoreGroup is $10/hour for my position but assuming I get brought on after six months, I go up to $15/hour. 😄

Yup. They also pay for your testing. I've been told they give you vouchers the first couple times you take a Cisco cert, like the CCNA or CCNP, and then after that you have to pay for it but they reimburse you, pass or fail. That was something I've never heard of another company doing. A lot will cover the cost two, or maybe three times, but after that you have to pay for it yourself.

Also, I've been told each cert you get is an ~5K/year pay increase.

Awake already, got about an hour or two of sleep and then could not fall back asleep, so I am awake and on my laptop now.

Sorting out a laptop for a family member. I thought it was a personal one but it turns out it's a business one.

I should have charged for my time.

It's morning, why wouldn't you be? unless you didn't sleep at all last night?

Spent most of yesterday, and will spend most of today, watching classic movies with my sister in law. She's on a classic cinema binge because she's never seen much of it. She and @dominica started off trying to watch ones that no one has ever seen, but there is a reason why no one has ever seen them and they kept giving up because they were awful.

Finally convinced my SIL to watch tried and true ones and now it is much more fun. Managed to get through all of Monkey Business and Pillow Talk yesterday. They turned off three or four other movies that were unwatched.... Carousel, Something About Eve, "Valley of the Dolls"....

Today I am pushing for more good Rodgers and Hammerstein like State Faire, Oklahoma, South Pacific and Doris Day classics like Glass Bottom Boat or Rock Hudson like Man's Favorite Sport.
