That guy is clueless. Took that many post to just figure out it is for backups.
Yeah, but in other cases, people say JBOD a lot and it means something different to everyone. I can't really think of any circumstance where I've actually wanted to use it or felt that it conveyed something useful. I'm not sure that the term should even exist.
Can you tell my give two f** is gone? I guess it is time for cafinee or bed....

I'm guessing it's the workstation version. I'm also guessing he didn't blacklist the nouveau driver before installing the other ( I don't know if it will even let you install it with the other loaded). He did something funky.
