Depends on the actual job duties and expectations and salary I would never shut it down just because of the description

the plastic at the connection point in my wife's laptop was entirely shattered. The brass nuts that were glued to that plastic was just floating free. I pull out the scrap bits and and used epoxy to fill the void then pushed the brass into the epoxy. Now it's cured and strong. working like when it was new! yeah.
This is the same type as @Minion-Queen free laptop.
