Nothing like starting the weekend with a migraine.. Ugh,.. But oh well.
Off to pick up a replacement battery for a UPS and other errands,.. Then who knows.
Uh, that sucks. Get well soon.
I've got the same problem sometimes. It's good to know what exactly causes a migraine. I'm able to avoid it mostly since I know what it is.

Second time this week my computer has had a BSOD.
Good thing the hard drive is sitting right here... just have to get the Kernel put on a USB drive to get started.....

LOL - No. The Desktop that @Mike-Ralston built. Got it booted, but now running into what I think was the same issue you had with Linux Mint,.. the UEFI boot...

No action today at work. Came in at 12:30, powered everything down (Everything!) gave it 45 minutes to nap. All is back up and reading five-9's. I haven't done that in over a year.
Yeehaw -

My issues were purely around drivers for a very specific gaming laptop.

Thanks
Per your suggestion, I used the LVM defaults on the partitioning,.. and we are installed and updating.
Now to go get the ASUS A88XM-e Drivers to get my monitors squared and start customizing this build. -

Nice to be able to say that no more headache... 6 ibuprofen (3 at 6am 3 and noon) and a Arby's Jamoca shake...
Now my headache what did I just create for myself in moving to a Linux based system when some of what I hoped to do is 'Windows' limited....

What OS are you actually running?

Ibuprofen is mostly useless when you're facing a real migraine and not "just severe headache" - better check that with your doc. Formigran helped me a lot, US brand name should be Amerge (primary ingredient: Naratriptan) according to drugs.com. Damn expensive (roughly EUR 5 a pill), but a lifesaver.

Starting the process of packing up to get ready for our trip to Sicily tomorrow.

Nice. Any idea about your trip to Germany?

Amazed at how little power modern equipment takes.
65" TV, sound bar with sub, and a Fire Stick.110 watts

Things sure have changed. Imagine all of that with a 65" CRT and a big tube aplifier and a 1970s mainframe, lol.

Had some fun with AT&T - We had not changed our service plan in more than 10 years.... We just came off the original iPhone 3gs Data plan we had.... Sigh,.. went from Unlimited Data to 6gb per month.
Our Smart phones went from $40 to 20, and the dumb phone went from $10 to $20,.. wow... all phones now at $20.. lame.
Also been looking over the NTG MS VolLic Site,.. can't seem to find Win10 to download... only Windows 7, Vista and XP options...

Perhaps NTG doesn't have any agreements that include windows 10 in them.

There are times that I would like to find an old MainFrame... I did support for the IBM Series 1 when I worked for the State of VA in the 1990s... Man what a beast - ...
But I have no need for that, and wouldn't know what I would do with it... .so I"ll just keep my rPi, a few batteries and solar panel or two...
