I still haven't seen all of Force Awakens. Doesn't want to stream right on Kodi.
I haven't had time to see it at all yet. It's on my list of things to nab from Netflix at some point... eventually.

That was my impression of the first 40 minutes.
It's like a low budget, Disney channel made for TV reboot of the original. They couldn't get the good actors and writers and gave it the silly southern California Disney Channel treatment. If you like Hannah Montanna, you've love the new Star Wars.

That's not really fair. I like Hannah Montana and it wasn't enough to get me happy about the SW remake.

LOL - while I won't crush on the new Star Wars like Scott will - it definitely didn't stand up!
I was severely disappointed in the fact that it was pretty much just a redo of Ep 4 - really, another Deathstar? really? that's the best you could come up with? And the trench run made by the X-Wings? Oh wait I just remember, what about blowing up the central nexus or whatever that exhaust thing was - i.e. the shield generator in Ep 6 on Endor - Yeah, even killing Han was nothing more than killing Obi Wan again.
Lame Disney and LFL, Lame!
I do hold MUCH better hope for Rogue One though!

I bought it when it came out on Blu-Ray. Hadn't seen it until that night. It was then that I discovered what the JJ in JJ Abrams actually stood for. Jar Jar. He is Jar Jar Abrams.

More stabbing with lightsabres, epic space battles & new ideas... why the hell didn't they just do the Thrawn trilogy? That would have been epic!!
