Ran to Walmart and picked up a WD My Passport Ultra to test out. It is a fraction of the size of external USB drives that I have used before. I should be able to get a bit better storage density with this unit. This will be far better for traveling.
It sounds slow. What kind of performance does it have?

I'll take 2 - $99 for 2TB in that size? Yeah, I know what I'm getting soon to replace my USB drive cases.

Do you have good days where your tinnitus isn't so bad or is it a constant thing?
It use to be some good/bad - but lately its been pretty constant. By Army standards, I have hearing loss more so on the right side, but luckily, the tinnitus does interfere too much. Its just seems to be worse when its quiet, of course, again, luckily, it does not impact my ability to sleep much. And for those who do not know what its like - go to a loud concert and see how your hearing is following it - that ringing you hear? Yeah, all the time here Meh, it is what it is or as my MIS teacher use to say "FIPO" - "eff It, Push On" - lol

@scottalanmiller I read Enders game when the movie came out and didn't want to see the movie as I could tell from the reviews it would be weird. Now that time has passed, I am up for the book versus the movie challenge.

@Minion-Queen 4 and counting, staff of 60. I'm shooting for 10%, we did send out two emails before the break about this.

I can beat that on Friday we had 15 phone calls in about 20 minutes. Not because we had changed anything but because they couldn't remember (not all from the same client even).

Lunch before starting some moving.
I think my fortune just insulted me though.."With a little more hard work, your creativity takes you to great heights"
What - I'm not working (yawn) hard enough?

No one wants to recycle my old computer stuff... so to the dumpster it goes.

Had a user call about a pop up and "something to do with encrypting files"
I asked them pull the network cable out, but the user pulled the power cable out instead, as it was easier to reach. Investigation shows that it was indeed a crypto variant but it doesn't look like it's spread. DBAN is currently chewing on the afflicted HDD.
