@thwr tomato soup is essentially thin ketchup, that's heated to the point that it scalds your mouth.
It's tasty, but meh.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is an American classic, like apple pie, Buffalo chicken wings, hot dogs with mustard...

Meh...
I prefer to do it myself. So from fresh tomatoes or maybe from "ready to use tomato pieces" (hope you get it). Ketchup? Really? No wonder everyone is complaining about eating too much sugar over at your place
