Finally gave in to peer pressure. Watching The Walking Dead
I watched the first two seasons. The comics were much better.

@scottalanmiller Noooo! Still havent seen an episode of this show. If it has zombies as the main thing, i avoid it. Games, movies, tv shows. Thought i was the only one, looks like i might be now.
Nah, I watched the first 3 episodes that my buddy was in, then it lost me (because plot holes).
So far, up to around episode five and it's "meh".

Did not read them but the game is WAY better. better story, better pacing, way more intense.

That's pretty much what it was. Emilia is used to white noise so without it she kept startling herself awake. Normally she wakes up at ~3AM and goes immediately back to bed after a feeding. Last night she was up ~every 10 minutes.
WIth my boys, battery powered radio on static got us through some overnight power outages. Being an Amateur Radio nut, it was easy to just set one of my ham radios to an unused frequency and I have enough batteries to go all night.
That's a good idea. Need to find a radio though.
My Dad has my Grampa's old ham radio with a built in amp of questionable legality, lol. Dang thing dims the lights in the neighbor's house... and I used to be able to hear grampa over our TV set half a mile away when I was a kid, lol.
Can I plug my guitar into that amp?

What episodes is your buddy in and how is he identified?

The whole appeal to me was to be able to say "hey look! It's Charles!!!" He was even on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. But the show kinda sucks.

He's a zombie in the first 2 or 3 episodes. Tall, skinny ginger zombie. The guy on the far left.

Telltale has shown time and again that they are much better story tellers then the original creators. The first game had a much better story and pacing then the comics had as well.

he made it onto the cover of entertainment weekly? That's even better than "just being on the show."

another vendor mentioned to me how visibly busier ML is than some other, pretty busy site. Very encouraging.

I'd have to check the plug, but I'm sure you could. Arguably, we'd have to fiddle with the output too since I'm not entirely certain where the speakers would plug up, lol. He built this one himself and had it connected to hand strung antennae that he strung into the trees outside his house... but who knows, maybe the ham radio guys on the other side of the planet could enjoy your jams.

If the tubes work, I can figure out the input/output stuff. I've made guitar sounds come out of many different amplifiers, and have discovered that impedance mismatch just isn't that big of a deal.

You'd have to bring your own speaker, I'm fairly sure... and earmuffs... Everybody in a half mile radius is likely to hear you at the lowest volume setting, lol.

She's lucky... to be able to sleep in. Let her enjoy it.
Probably doesn't happen to often.

About to eat another salad. Lost 7 lbs so far. Maybe I'll start looking human after a few months of this.
