What Are You Doing Right Now

Driving home.
-
Ugh going home. Worst acid reflux ever from being hunched over tracing cable all afternoon.
Going to drain a bottle of pepto and go for a walk.
-
just arrived home and noticed that this NAS is still wiping itself..
-
Good morning everyone.
-
Wondering what I should try and achieve today.
-
And you wonder how people miss questions like the SMTP port number?
- "An HA Device"... what the F does that mean? An aeroplane, an HVAC system, what? This is in "server hardware" so maybe they think that the only thing that we need to know is that he has two of these servers? Seriously, how does telling us it is HA matter but not WHAT it is?
- L2 is part of the chip, so can never be upgraded. No chip lets you change the on-chip memory. Seriously?
It's one thing to not understand technology at all, or to not understand English.... but the issue here, as almost always, is not understanding how to ask a basic question. Zero relevant data, none.

Pouring rain here again today.
-
Just got to work after dropping parents off at the station as they're heading home today...feeling like crap because of a dodgy throat/ear thing too...
Today is going to be a good day lol.....
-
On the phone with @Mike-Davis this afternoon.

Back in the saddle today for Windoze updates and hopefully a quiet day.. Yesterday was watching kid graduate pre-k and hanging with the family.

As a child I don't recall "graduating" from pre-k. It was just another day for me. And then a few months later I was back in school.
Maybe we didn't have graduations back then... I don't recall correctly.

I don't think we did either. But in this area the schools are trying really hard to get / keep parents involved in the lives of their kids. It's an effort that I think is worthy of support! There was a great turnout and the little program was cute too, so it was very worth it... Except for the getting drenched afterwards (it was pouring rain here too).

So long as it was enjoyable family time. If you were just sitting there the entire time not participating I wouldn't really count it as family time.
I hope you were able to participate..

There was a little audience participation. The family time was afterwards, lol. It was worth burning a day's vacation to go for.

Wondering what the hell to do for the rest of the day in work ??? ??? ???
-
Trying to get motivated after going to the Cleveland vs Cincinnati. That was almost a little league game... at one point Cinci walked home 4 runs for us. Ended up Cle won 13 to 1.

tly.I tried to not even walk for high school graduation but my parents made me. But for college, I refused to walk for any of my degrees. Never had one prior to graduating high school.

How much time you got left? There's always time to reprogram the coffee maker, hack the printers to announce voice recognition on their displays or pull the fire alarm and make sure it works...

Personally, I didn't get the point of it, except for keeping parents involved...

I totally agree with the idea. But seems like there would be better times to get parents involved, like during the education portions. There are so many opportunities to be involved, having ceremonies takes away from what could be otherwise "family time".
