What Are You Doing Right Now

So another reason not to buy Lenovo (as if we needed another one). We had an older T520 here. So I was just going to put Fedora on it. Well I come to find out that the Display Port is hard wired to the NVIDIA card. So if you want to use integrated graphics and not mess with trying to install the drivers for the graphics card, you have to use VGA.

They are not always so good on non-proprietary systems.

Well from what I saw its kind of involved (at least on Fedora). Plus it was the end of the day and I just wanted to go home haha.

It's not that in depth but you had to rebuild the initramfs and some other stuff.

Going home trumps all... Install NVIDIA drivers on Tuesday... Money is not a good day to install NVIDIA drivers, ha ha.

Just finished packing the van for our trip to LA. I don't foresee the load shifting at all. That would require a slight bending of the laws of physics. The good news is that I was able to jam a futon mattress in on top of everything else, so we'll have a nice makeshift bed to stretch out when not at the wheel on the return drive.
