Huh, there is a lot of talk about it on the news today. One of those things must be.

I think it was the Obama speech that triggered it.

Ahh yeah, after he's been over here...half the papers here decided to focus on the fact Prince George was speaking to him in his pj's and dressing gown...and not on the important matters he came here to discuss...

First day back from vacation. Feel very at ease--obviously very needed. Had a great time at PAX East with a ton of great people I haven't seen in a long time
-
Anyone have a recommendation for a 4 port POE Switch? I looked for a Ubiquiti one but didn't see any that small.
-
Amazon has a few options.

Yeah I was just wondering if anyone found a gem
-
@wirestyle22 What is the use for the device, I mean there is even an option for $9.99!
-
@DustinB3403 You can get hookers for that price too...the question is would you risk it..?
-
@NattNatt Well of course, but you completely skipped the important part of that question.
What are you going to be using the PoE switch for?
-
@DustinB3403 Yeah, I know just like being crude :')

It's for 2 UAP's
-
I'd probably go with a Netgear or TrendNet.
NetGear seems more business class, but all you really need is a simple way to provide power.
How much total power do you need?
-
Make sure the PoE switch that you get supports the UAPs. I think some of the UAPs use a different PoE standard.

24V Passive PoE. I was looking at that when I read your post actually :X
Looking at this
-
I'm sure it's on the unit somewhere, but I don't see a LAN connection to actually connect to the network.
Just the PoE ports.
It must be hiding.

nope, it's just a multi-poe injector...we had one at the last place I worked.

Just pass through PoE. I've used those before.
