I could tell you what I'm doing right now, but it's top-secret NTG official business. You'll find out in a couple of days!

So we're in a parking lot last night, walking to the car, and this Cadillac is backing out of a spot right in front of us. I catch a glimpse of the license plate and chuckle. I say "FTP-8888... I wonder what he does for a living." All I get is blank stares. As soon as I explain, then it's the "you're such a dork" look. The only response I actually got was "F*** The Police! lol
Help me out guys. Was it that hard?
Nope. I geddit!
Clever, but not overly giggle worthy

Big time cleaning and packing day today. This is our last full day on Crete. Getting on the ferry tomorrow evening to head up to Athens.

Just back from a massive final dinner on Crete. So good. I ate an entire plate of whole fried sardines.

Promptly brought down the new Exchange 2013 server last night because I neglected to account for the massive amount of logging when mailboxes as being migrated. I had spec'd a 30GB mounted drive for the log to go along with the 300GB mounted drive for the first DB file.
Oops.
Expanded the drive to 40GB, rebooted, and the new DB stayed mounted this time.
A bit later the 12pm Veeam backup job came through and it all poofed.
So back to queueing up more mailboxes.
-
Latest migration batch just finished. Back to 20GB of logs.
Veeam runs again at 4pm (now), so I think I will wait for that before starting the next batch of users.

Another successful family walk without shooting the dog down the road.

Well the VM drive has lots of space, but I ran out of space on the host..
I was worried about this. Makes me glad I dropped in 4 old drives I had left over from elsewhere as a second RAID10.
Just need to move the old SBS VM over on to drive E before this next batch fires off.
Then I will be needing a conversation with the client tomorrow about new drives of their own.
