Hosted Spiceworks is super easy to use. Pretty basic but has what we need for the lab just fine.

TIL about the File Server Resource Manager in Windows... never seen this application before pretty interesting... the reporting alone would have been very useful in the past.

He thinks it is awesome. It's more so that we can cut down on the all night noise under our bedroom. He currently has his office, stereo's and guitar stuff in our basement and our bedroom is on the first floor. If we "give" him the upstairs of our house he can move that all to the other side away from our bedroom. So a bit self serving but it works out for everyone. I never go upstairs. m

Rockwool is amazing for sound proofing. Slightly more expensive then fiberglass but does a much better job of sound dampening.
