Taxes would take that above $40K, maybe even $45K of total income. A steady $45K job will be tough to wrangle that quickly and there is no time for it not to be full time. And $500/mo to live on is tough as it is.
I'm aiming high but I want to get 3-4K if I can. I need enough to get me into an apartment in Dallas and have enough capital to get started.

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do... I'd love to do it... though I won't have any extra vacation until 2017 now, Taking 3 weeks for Europe next summer.. that pretty much eats it all up.

I work in Alpharetta (north of ATL) and I live out in Gwinnett (East of ATL). Both spots are within 30-40 min of downtown. What part of town are you in?
