Just walking in the door from rebooting an old Linux box.
MySQL had failed. Upon trying to reboot, got an error during shutdown that a drive was not available.
Hard reset power and on boot up the PERC stated there was a memory/battery error and that cache was lost. Lucky this server will just pull in data it is missing from 4 remote servers.
But now I am only 4 hours from my alarm waking me up for my flight to Austin, and just getting home.

Taking a much needed break, catching up on emails and stuff. About twenty minutes until it is time to head over to the convention center again for the vendor showcase.

Watched the Spiceworld stream with the speaker on the "cloud" about how we should just use the cheapest hardware even outside of the cloud just for normal server for enterprise. NO Thanks!
