Ouch. Hopefully that won't happen. We are in a very scenic part of the Catskills so second home/vacationers are buying property like crazy.

We are $150K under water on the house
The market collapsed in NY. No way to sell the house without an insane loss. -

Nope, rains right into the house. If there is a storm that gets so bad that it is blowing rain into the middle of the kitchen or onto the table we can bring down those rolled up slat things, but only on the one side. There is no way to block off the outside to the part of the house facing the pool on the balcony / seating side of it.

If there is a storm that gets so bad that it is blowing rain into the middle of the kitchen or onto the table we can bring down those rolled up slat things, but only on the one side. There is no way to block off the outside to the part of the house facing the pool on the balcony / seating side of it.
Wow - how are the bugs? Have you heard if they are worse/better at other times of the year?
