I believe that to be true.

The old ER Lite were software bridged only and not something you ever wanted to do. Horrible performance killer.

The ER-X and ER-4 have an actual switch chip. You don't have to make each port use it, but it is there.

So you could make eth0 be WAN and eth1 through eth3 be members of switch0

I heard back from them. They aren't sending anything unless I actually experience a problem.

Swapped and it's working great.

I can now say that 10Gtek stuff is compatible with Unifi Switches.

Not sure this really matters anymore since Ubiquiti now sells their own branded SFPs and they are very reasonably priced.

There isn't suppose to be much difference. Beyond that, I really can't tell you.
