      Yes, but applications and solutions which you can use are more and more compatible with this new style of storage (because it solves some problems you can face with other technologies).

      I just mentioned this concept in a post elsewhere earlier today, in fact. This is an extension of the YAGNI Principle that is commonly known in software engineering circles but is often overlooked in IT ones.
