Yeah but that says nothing about this specific case in regards to VOSE rights.

I didn't even turn it on. From the description it sounds like a really bad idea. It's like autofiltering that takes more work than real filtering, isn't as reliable, is less predictable and then alerts you anyway completely defeating its own purpose.

Wow...found it! I have less stored than I thought. Most of the heavy and "not allowed stuff" is on my Google Drive.

I thought I read some where that Microsoft is making the jump from 6.4 to 10, which will be the first time the os and kernel match. I could be wrong though.

Linux did a renumbering too, recently, to make the number more marketable. But 3.0 is actually part of the 2.6 family. At best you could consider it 2.8. Microsoft may do the same thing, switch from a meaningful numbering to a marketing number. But the new kernel is remaining part of the Vista kernel family.

      Overview

Storage Spaces Direct seamlessly integrates with the features you know today that make up the Windows Server software defined storage stack, including Scale-Out File Server, Clustered Shared Volume File System (CSVFS), Storage Spaces and Failover Clustering. Figure 4 below illustrates the “Storage Spaces Direct” stack:

It does a ton. It's been the leader of Microsoft's extensive platform for over a decade. It's their application and integration platform.

I hear it is just a change in name plus a few more things borked.

The UI is a bit different and so will the program name be different.

      Well that explains everything 🙂

It me it seems the OS just gets out of the way more and lets me do what I want to do. With Android the OS kinda gets in the way of doing tasks more and doesn't let me just work without having to think about it. If that makes sense.

My work pays for my service on Verizon and they are pretty much "in between" Windows Phones as I do not think the Samsung ATIV or HTC One M8 are serious "flagships"...if my ICON died, I'd rather go back to Android or iPhone for a while if I had to...they seem to be behind the platform but still want to hear about coming flagships...

I don't think who makes the phones it really Microsoft's issues. They don't control that. The lumia's are the only ones they make. Windows phone 8.1 is 100% free. any manufacturer can make a windows phone or even a windows tablet and not have to pay for licensing. Blu Has many unlocked windows phone coming out and some already out. Nokia Lumia has done unlocked phone and even pentaband (like the lumia 920 pentaband) before, many it has every GSM frequency pretty much. All of Blu's phones are unlocked and under $200 full price.
