      I have a copy of SCO Unix. Very niche. Full box and license. Found it when i was clearing out the IT attic at work. I havent seen a Solaris box since 2010.

      I'm not going to knock the article, cause I do agree, Linux Distros are constantly becoming better, and software developers are realizing they can still make a dime by developing their software so it works on Linux.

      My issue is in the work-space and stupid black box appliances that require archaic software to operate that keeps me tethered to Windows.

      If I could rip those solutions out, I'd be using CentOS as my daily office driver.

      So this isn't something @travisdh1 would want to build and leave around?

      Maybe in someone else's house. I haven't jumped on the automated assistant thing yet, I'm still quite leery of having something like that in the house.... yes, I know I carry one around in my pocket with the phone. Doesn't mean I use it.

      Also doesn't mean you want yet another one reporting everything you say to the NSA.

      @dafyre Are you sure you don't wear a tin foil hat as well? πŸ˜‰

      *quickly whips something shiney and metallic looking behind his back*

      Who? Me. Never! *coughs to cover the sound of crumbled up tin foil landing in the trash can*

      systemd has got this since early development. this, among other things (PID 1 master process...etc), was one of the reasons Poettering designed systemd. It borrowed this idea from other systems like this

      So I also realized that if you have even a small number of records, a dictionary will become super long. So you can compact the dictionary like this:

      records: ns1: {forward: 10.1.30.11, type: A, last: 11, rev: 30.1.10.in-addr.arpa.} ansible: {forward: 10.1.30.5, type: A, last: 5, rev: 30.1.10.in-addr.arpa.}

      So while the other way may be easier to read, this saves a TON of space.

      @jaredbusch said in Install NextCloud 11 on Fedora 25 with SaltStack:

      @scottalanmiller why install a proxy when Apaches here and working what is the benefit to having a proxy on the same server. Let’s Encrypt perfectly with Apache

      Security and flexibility typically. Here is the admitted marketing material from Nginx on security: "Security and anonymity – By intercepting requests headed for your backend servers, a reverse proxy server protects their identities and acts as an additional defense against security attacks. It also ensures that multiple servers can be accessed from a single record locator or URL regardless of the structure of your local area network."

      Well it is specifically Android TV, so if you want the Android TV OS, interface and compatibility. It's a video gaming platform as well as television system.

      Its not through. Its a stock Android 5.1 image that requires you to get a media style interface from the Play Store, rather than a "proper" Android TV system.

      Weird, maybe they pulled the version. They have Android 7 TV...
