HPs driver site is horrible!
-
Ever since HP split off the PC division their drivers website has been horrible.
Anyone else having these Page cannot be displayed issues?
-
Holy crap I was fighting with it this morning too. Pissed me right off.
If you give it long enough (60sec) it will eventually render a page
-
yeah, but damn near impossible to download a driver

Anything to do with website + HP has been awful for years, I don't know what they are doing (or not doing)

It's really true. The site has been a complete disaster. I've even spoken to people at HP about it and they act like nothing is wrong.

And then they act surprised when the cut backs happen..."What did we do wrong?!?"

Yes, HP and Dell have been the sole primary suppliers to the SMB for a long time now. If you want top tier enterprise players with full stack product lines.

If you are willing to work with multiple vendors you get more options. There are smaller desktop players that are decent. There is SuperMicro for servers.
-
The HP site has always been aggravatingly slow and hard to find things on but now they have added "oh yeah we moved that" almost every time you go there.
I spent what felt like two days looking for the Intelligent Provisioning (rebadged Smart Start) download to upgrade the firmware on one of my blades AND even with links to it from a tier one partner, I still couldn't download it.
Nice hardware, horrible time getting drivers.

I hate it, but then I bought some Lenovo gear and found that even more horrible, so I'm back to HP. Better the devil you know, I guess.

True but at least with Lenovo, they bundle the Malware & root kits with the UEFI so you don't have to go to the trouble of finding them for yourself. TAKE THAT HP!!!.... wait, what?
