I Used To Wonder Why Nic Had So Many Games
-
It becomes an addiction to just collect them, after a while. Speaking of, CS:GO is 50% off today
-
It's like how I used to be with movies in the Walmart bargain bin. I'd buy anything no matter how awful it was.

Gold is often found in those movie bargain bins, especially if you love the 'D' cinema as I do...
-
I found most of the real gems in the LD bargain era.

One thing that is amazing is that @nic with ~700 games and me with more than 400 have surprisingly little overlap.
-
Yeah I don't tend to like the point and click and story driven games that you play a lot.

And story is the key feature that I look for in all gaming.

For me gameplay trumps all. We're at opposite ends of the spectrum
-
That's a lot of games. How many do either of you actually play?
-
From here:
http://www.mysteamgauge.com/account?username=tolstoshevit looks like I've played just over 200 of them to some extent
-
I've never seen that site before...

Here's another one:

that shows I have 484 games I haven't touched -
You have 2.5TB and $10K of games!!
-
Here is mine. I spend a lot more money but apparently play nearly as much:

Oh wait, that's not a per year use number but a total. Apparently I game nearly 50% more than Nic!

166 games not played. Although to be fair, most of those are PC only and I'm stuck on a Mac at the moment.

That doesn't include the discount for sales I've probably only paid about $2k.

I just bought Shoppe Keep. My first early access "support an Indie developer" purchase.
