We are incredibly excited to announce that ScreenConnect is now part of the ConnectWise.com, LLC team. This allows us to combine our strengths to build innovative, easy-to-use, powerful solutions for our partners and growing community. Being part of the ConnectWise family provides our team unique resources to expand our commitment to community-driven innovation to benefit our customers and the markets we serve.
ConnectWise has a track record of delivering extraordinary solutions in the global marketplace to their partners, and this acquisition is yet another example of their larger, ongoing strategy to help technology companies – like ours – prosper.
This transition will cause minimal to no disruption to ScreenConnect services, partner relationships or innovation cycles, but rather position our company to grow and improve upon our current processes. The additional investment of funding and resources will quite simply allow us to extend our rapid development approach and scale our team in key areas to establish the ScreenConnect brand as one of the premier solutions in the market.
This is a big step forward for our team in achieving our goals. We certainly understand there will be lots of questions and concerns. Our goal, as always, is to be as transparent as possible and provide our community with timely updates on the transition as they become available. In the meantime, you are welcome to contact our sales team with any questions you may have.

Wonder what kind of changes and pricing changes this will make over the next few months?
-
Interesting development, right as we deploy ScreenConnect. Hopefully this does not impact the product.

I am sad at any purchase because ScreenConnect has a long history and has run great.
I have seen too many bad things happen with acquisitions to be happy about this. Not saying ConnectWise is bad. Just bleh. I've not used any ConnectWise services yet, so I have no opinion on the company.

Connect wise reminds me of Manage Engine too much. Lots of expensive software packages and not listing prices.

You license never expires, so that is not a worry. If things change, it would only be the ability to upgrade or add licenses that would be lost

Only having 1 connection is a pain, but all I can afford at the moment.

I thought even with hosting your own it was a yearly per user fee.

We initially purchased a 2 concurrent user license.
After about 18 months we decided to move to 4. So that was another $600 + the upgrade fee $120 (80% discount on $600) for the previous 2 licenses.

Nope. That's one of the things that I liked about it. One time cost.
