I have fought the points from day one. If you search on posts discussing points, I always am the one fighting to have the points removed across the board. When the points were suggested I asked that we not have them because I felt that they would hurt the community by lowering the quality of the conversations. I’ve worked hard to get them removed from long before day one L

Even after hitting PC and double PC, I’ve offered to have my points removed because I think that they mean nothing. They don’t measure anything important. I never worked for points and am very thankful that we don’t really have them here and what little we have is very straightforward. The points there are so complex that no one even knows what they do imply or what they are meant to promote (I do because I took the time to pay attention, but in general they only serve to confuse.)

So no loss for me. I gave up my mod powers a year or two ago and gave up SP a few months ago.

I've not even made it to coffee yet. I am hoping that @dominica is making a pot right now though. We have an awesome grind and brew unit that rocks.

It's an eleven year old Cuisinart. It still seems new to me but it was a wedding present. We have five coffee makers but it is by far the best.

I have a Cuisinart also, but only a year old though. My wife bought it as my birthday gift last year.
