Can someone convert a PSD for me?

I have a PSD file that I cannot open in GIMP. I was wondering if someone who has photoshop could open it and convert it to another format that I can edit with GIMP.

What format do you want it in for GIMP? I'm sending you a Tiff with layers as it's the only thing I can think of that would be compatible.

It opened as one layer in both Inkscape and GIMP. Let me do a little research and see if I can find a compatible format
