Easter Weekend Plans

What is everyone doing for the Easter weekend?

Up the island to see the folks, but first I need to clean my apartment. Considering the nuclear option for that.
Lived here for over a year now and still have not hung pictures. This weekend will correct that and more.

Brunch with the family on Saturday. Sunday we are on our worship team at church this week so church from 9am till 1:30pm.

Gig Saturday night, sleep all day Sunday, wait for candy to go on sale Monday. What is this "Easter" you speak of? Some sort of holiday, I presume?

Oh yeah have a gig Saturday night this week. Sounds Gal this week for me.

Passover begins tomorrow night, so... no plans. But you all forgot about Passover didn't you? Bunch of antisemites!

Actually I almost got someone fired once by making a joke that they said something antisemitic to me, but I cleared that up, and was always careful about that. Now that I'm the boss I always accuse a new employee of being antisemitic the first time they disagree with me just to see what they'll do, it's always really funny.

Just had the local Holy Week Procession go by in the street here in Cáñar. Pretty cool. They walked for miles, way out into the country to the east.

Here in Spain obviously very large Jewish population but very, very large Moorish too. I'm in Al Andalus, so very, very Arabian influenced. You could fool yourself into thinking you were in Morocco around here.

Horrible, horrible Ladino. Anyway yeah I had a whole love affair thing in Catalonia, I mean Spain, so I'm totally an expert. Actually I've known about Ladino and such since childhood, and it's always seemed horrible. I did grow up in a community that did have a lot of Yiddish speakers though.

I'm on leave tomorrow. I'm going to airport to pick up my sister and bring her to Naval Office. She will have a Training for Marine Officer .

Ingress event on Saturday, then Sunday is Easter dinner with family and get to see my nephew.

No big plans here. Going to hang out with family on Saturday and help Pops run cameras for the church on Easter Sunday.
