if we can grow our business enough that I just handle remote stuff and manage people, I think I will push for a house in Japan. I really want my girls to have a couple years (at least) growing up there.

Yes, I'm just north of there in St Pete. Haven't been laughing so much as feeling very blessed that I'm here and not further north.
Perhaps try coming down more often.
