      @scottalanmiller now that'd be nice.

I'm hopeful. We are making the work plans for a business trip to Bolivia and Argentina. Then the big boss and I are hoping to arrange our return flights from Santiago and go visit Chile after the work trip portion is done.

So last week I rolled out DUO 2-factor authentication. Happy to say that I only had 1 user with any issues, and that only required a simple delete / recreate account. I feel safer already.

❤ Duo. My place has been on it for 2-3 years now.

Hmmm... good to know. I might have to pick your brain if I run into any other problems.

We use the hell out of it. VPN, OWA, RDP, and working on using it to secure some 3rd party sites so they dont have to juggle 5 different mfa apps.

          ms group policies!!

PC is in an OU with a single policy applied.
          run gpupdate /force
look at system event log and it says policies from 3 gp's have been applied.

bloody ms and their damn crappy stuff

Waiting for our new (to us) couch to be delivered!

My gf's grandparents have this awesome leather couch with recliners and built in speakers. They are getting something smaller, so they are having the local company that custom made it come out and redo all the cushions, make any needed repairs to the framework and mechanical stuff, and completely re-cover it in new leather before they deliver it to us. So it is new.

...Aaaaannnnnd I just scored tickets for this concert:

              https://remaininlight.net/

Check out the opening act for the show in Atlanta. Never thought Frog Brigade would be touring again, so this is a bucket list check for me.

@RojoLoco speakers in a couch! Not seen that before. My Mum has lights and usb chargers in hers. I thought that was top notch, but speakers go one step further.

when they said they found another VSD (small hole in the bottom of the heart) my heart sank. then he said that it was roughly the size of a thumb tak needle (the point) so small and closing. . but No surgery will be needed for another of the 3 defects she was born with, thankfully.

Well, once the couch got delivered I realized that the speakers were actually add-ons. They were the exact same color leather. But the grandparents decided to hang on to those - even if they don't perfectly match their new couch.

Most TV systems that I've had for the last ten years have the headphone jack either on the remote control or they have bluetooth built in for that. Can't remember a TV that I've had that didn't let me sit on the couch with remote headphones.

Roku, Fire and similar have long had jacks on the remotes. Apple and similar have long used BT.

Most video game systems copied those and added headset jacks to game controllers, too, for the same reason.

Yeah I have that in ChromeCast with Google TV and I think I played with it once with Roku or Fire - but never tried with the TV.
To me the TV is just a monitor, nothing more. - ok that's not strictly true anymore, I have a TV in a spare bedroom and I do use the built in speakers, but I don't use it's tuning ability at all - ChromeCast with Google TV is my current preferred solution.

Yeah. What I always disliked about that -- at with mine, if I plugged in a headset, the Roku would mute the TV and only play audio through the headset.

Having the house wired up tomorrow, finally. We have two Internet providers (Claro & Teko), one on cable and one on fiber. My office is already wired to the fiber, but we are going to re-route everything so that we have both providers going everywhere. Gotta install a switch in my office and a switch in the middle of the house and put four or five access points up to get coverage.
