I use Supremo, Meshcentral2 and Teamviewer, and have no issues, after reboots.
I used the 'incorrect' term code... Password.
You need to setup "unattended access" with fixed password.

Sounds like you're wanting a persistent remote connection to the target machine. MeshCentral gets the job done for me.
This is for a single person that is non-it and in his seventies. Mesh central isn’t an option as he isn’t going to want to set up or manage a server

Interesting and not previously known. Will have to test and see. Used to be you only needed to click one maybe two boxes and you were done…

From what I remember with team viewer if you were logged in on both ends you didn’t need the OTP.
This is another piece of software I’ve used also and worked well.

Chrome has that tool, but it's annoying to use.

The products that I've used or looked at usually rely on another "awake" node at the same site to send WoL. If it's just the 1 machine in FL and 1 machine at home, there's nothing available to kick the sleeping machine... Unless there's something that I'm missing?

yeah, for sure, by definition it can't wake it if it is asleep. It has to be awoken by another machine on the network. The program can't run to wake itself up.

So this is only finding the solution, not providing a solution? Not many great options or everyone would be using them in that case.

yeah, for sure, by definition it can't wake it if it is asleep. It has to be awoken by another machine on the network. The program can't run to wake itself up.
There may be a bios setting to automatically wake or start the device on a schedule. Maybe that can be part of it, along with in-OS sleep setting to prevent that, so that he can shut it down manually when done for the day.
