just got my schedule (kind of) but it looks like i'll be working Tuesday - saturday ; Friday and saturday is a "Mid" shift 1pm-10pm not sure about the other days quite yet, manager is sending over the schedule a little later on today

Workday is already in full swing, lots of fun tickets to deal with. Been a whole bunch of oddball requests lately.

In a rare occurrence - I took the day off. Although I still took time to join the IT Teams meeting that lasts about an hour.
Kids started school today also.. so now I sit here with plenty of things to do - and no real hurry to do any of it. I've already fallen asleep once,.. and may do so again before long. Rest of the week with lead up to half a dozen staff moves to the new building that I don't know has the Certificate of Occupancy yet.... uhm - pretty sure we have to have that before people can work there... but - who am I do know such things.
Off to commit to doing something..... maybe.

I feel your pain. I've scheduled more meetings in the last 3 days than the entire first half of the year.

I signed into the VPN this morning before our Teams call,.. Just signed out. DIdn't do anything work really all day, though I did 'fix' a server issue.
But I see there are a few voice mails and some tickets not 'attended to', two tickets are about some laptop issue with one being titled EMERGENCY.
That's it,.. nothing else in the title... there is some 'details' in the body of the ticket,.. but the title EMERGENCY just makes me want to wait on it. Of course, I took the day off,.. so - phftt... not my problem anyway.

@scottalanmiller Its nice because I-T is getting buy in from the start AND we're segmenting who does what, unlike my old place where it would be me doing all of it the day before we move.
