so now we call them "Digital Ordering Systems" or DOS for short which I'm pretty sure DOS is already an acronym I just for the life of me can't remember what it stands for.But POS works, because every single one I've dealt with are appropriately referred to either way.

I'm not denying that in anyway cause the few i've worked with they have cool stuff about them but still are pos.

This term is widely used on the news as well - if they don't like POS (piece of shit), then they should avoid DOS as well.

Watching Freezing Rain . the worst. One kid is playing ARC: Evolution, Another playing something like Fortnite as I can hear him thumping his desk -
I'm coughing on the smoke from the laser cutter/engraver. But learning how to use it a little at a time - this is only day two of having a computer connected to it - damn Windows Updates. Laptop has been 'Microsoft' three times now. I've turned updates and hibernate off... screw this.
Might see about the software I need to run the radio and unbox my new to me radio, a Yaesu FT-891 with MFJ Tuner. ...
Oh - and killing posts and the poster.

@gjacobse Im doing the VHF conteest today from home, tons of noise not many contacts. Waiting for our big 12-18 inches of snofall they're predicting overnight and I have an appoint I have to be at tommorow no matter what

The only contest I participate in really is Field Day. I am hoping for a better run this year that the last three. Wasn't a radio issue, a computer / antenna issue... I think the snow here is pettered out,.. disappointing.
