I've been syncing my mailboxes from on-premises Exchange to M365. Several mailboxes had issues, most were fairly easy to resolve from google searches except this one.

I have a mailbox, which happens to be a room mailbox, though this fact turned out to be a red herring.

      M365 gave this error

Which made no sense since every other mailbox on the system was found, hell, even this box name was found, just not able to import data.
Next I tried to powershell to a PST

Next up was trying to use Outlook to pull a copy to PST.

This ended up with a message saying it could not create an encrypted connection to the server, do I want to try making an unencrypted connection to the server? uh - of course not!

eventually I wound up in the properties of the mailbox and found that MAPI was disabled.

After enabling MAPI, I was able to successfully sync to O365 AND just as a test I tried the PS to PST and that worked as well.

TL:DR - make sure MAPI is enabled for any account you're migrating to M365/O365.
