@dapdomma I'd take a look at the troubleshooting docs.

@dapdomma I'd jump into the snipe-it support chat, I don't recall what the link is off hand but that'll be your fastest way to getting an answer.

They have an installation process or the git process, both are very simply to follow and install. Since I don't know how you installed, I can only suggest you try the other method or to go to https://gitter.im/snipe/snipe-it and ask for assistance there.

If you don't have the know-how, you can use these debian linux appliances instead:
                https://www.turnkeylinux.org/snipe-it

                • The *.iso is self-installing.
                • The *.ova is a pre-built VM you can import.

It will get you up and running quickly. And you will have a decent base system.

We use turnkey linux appliances when we want to test something new. Or just set up something that works straight out of the gate.

                  Turnkey linux works very well.

If you are just following installation instructions, you might as well run it as an appliance. The appliance is nothing more than a standard OS + installation scripts and some extra software for management.

But if you have custom installation requirements, then you are better off installing from scratch on your distro of choice.

What do you want to install it on?

                      • A physical server?
                      • A virtual machine?
                      • On your desktop/laptop computer?
                      • On a cloud service?
                      • Or something else?

I suggest installing it under virtualbox or hyper-v on your desktop. Use the iso from turnkey linux. It will install everything including linux for you.

Sorry to disappoint but no. Most of us are IT professionals and we are not here looking for more work.

If you want someone to do it for you, try one of the freelance platforms, like fiverr, upwork etc.

@dapdomma you're installation looks like it is having some issues. But to change the company name you would go to

                                              Settings > Companies

                                And change it within there.
