As many of you know, I'm moving out of the country and a lot of stuff that we have cannot come with us. Sadly, one of those things is my laserdisc collection of about 350 movies. All kept in amazing condition (although I've not opened the boxes in forever.) And I have two working (last I checked) laserdisc players to go with them. All has to go, really quickly. I'm on the north side of Dallas and you'd have to come pick it up. But if you want a truly epic classic movie collection it is here and all boxed up and ready to go.
hmm.. wish I didn't live 20 hours away.
Got anyone I could drop it off with locally to store it for you?
hmm.. nope, nearest person I know is outside of Houston.
I'll be there this week. What town?

Cool, let me know because I'm there all the time until we fly out. That's where our storage unit is. And where all the family is.

Somebody just posted on a Sale forum I'm on... They posted a CED --Capacitance Electronic Disc by RCA (aka Selectavision). That predates Betamax!

I don't think that it does. CED was the "new" product in 1981. Laserdisc is what predates all of them... VHS, Betamax, CED.
CED is how I saw my first Star Trek: The Motion Picture. We used to rent CEDs regularly.

The LDs just left. 350 discs and two players, off to a good home.
