Video Conference equipment to integrate with MS Teams ...

Setup an Intel NUC with a decent webcam and mic. As for specifics, I don't have any off hand. But keep the setup simple and straightforward.
Microsoft Teams is a bit of a beast to handle, and going down the dregs of proprietary hardware isn't something you're going to want to do. Trust me on that (looking at you Crestron Flex)
-
@DustinB3403 I was just going to say we resell Crestron products and Im tryin gto get one up and running with a hybrid teams/on prem Skype setup and so far its been...well...painful. Haven't been able to devote any resources to it so its been sitting there. I would NOT recommend.
-
The Crestron Flex units (at least for teams) is just a Windows 10 box with the microsoft teams app that starts in full screen mode.
And it cost a crap ton more than a Windows 10 license. . . and a NUC and it's overly complex to get it to tie into things like a Crestron panel etc.
I would not recommend it, because of Microsoft Teams (crestron themselves have decent hardware) But MS Teams is such a pain to deal with and get working how you expect everything else to work/has worked in your experience.

In general? Or "equipment readily available during the shortage from the COVID crisis?"
We have lots of stuff we like. Most of it is sold out right now.

In general. We have time if we need to get past a shortage.

Seems like probably the way I'd go. Low cost, and flexible in case you need to change anything.
-
Ordinary webcams are made to focus at very short distance and have extreme wide angle view. Not what you need for groups. The same with audio. Mic needs to be on the table, not at the monitor.
-
We have one of the fancy shmancy Logitech setups... PTZ cam, audio hub, works quite well with simple setup on a laptop. Have not tested with teams yet, but it works with WebEx and ring central.
-
Anything that's labeled as UC enabled from a reputable firm, like Logitech or Poly, should work well, especially with an Intel Nuc. I've used it with VDI and had no problems with the UC stuff, and anything not certified was always a little extra to setup or had desired features that did not work.

We've recently started to use a Meeting Owl in our smaller meeting room (maybe 6 people capacity)
The remote workers love it and insist we use it rather than a traditional front of the room cam. -

Those look nice. What meeting software are you using with them?
-
@JaredBusch We're using Zoom.
We had been using something called Starleaf but it didn't work with the Meeting Owl as well. That's one of the reasons we moved to Zoom.
There's a Meeting Owl Pro for bigger rooms but it's not available for us in the UK until later this year. When it is I think we'll be buying that for our main conference room. -

Me neither. I have no use for one and I want it anyway.

I want one because I want an owl in my office.

You can consider Yealink his MVC line is compatible with Teams but you must request it.
Or Jabra PanaCast + Speak 710
