I actually like AirBus and we have a lot of them in MENA and looking forward to this

I used to love FlightGear simulation it has a very good A320 model and it was a very easy plane to fly.
I can't wait till the distance and duration between Toronto and Cairo is reduced (currently 11 hours.)

No. But I have also not heard any good things. I have heard good things about Delta.

Not because of the seats of whatever, but because of overall customer service. Delta is by no small margin the worst airline I've every flown, anywhere in the world. And I fly all over. I've never had worse service, no one comes close. They absolutely hate their customers and will go out of their way to make sure you know it and are sorry for having been saddled with them. I would literally prefer a bare bones airline over Delta FC because how comfy the seat is doesn't make any difference when they sell it to someone else and leave you at the gate, even when you are on time.
I don't fly FC, don't see the value in it. If it was free, sure. But it's not, so ... why?

There is a lot of FUD out there because of stupid people. Mostly people that buy the super cheap rate and don't read the notice that if you don't pay for your checked bag online, you will pay an asston at the airport in a stupid tax.
Also, the notice is not at all small.

All the people that I've had say that they dislike it either misunderstood it and didn't pay attention and/or are the same people that like paying extra for bundling because they perceive a deal that doesn't exist.
You know... like paying $200 for TV, Phones, and Internet together, when you can get them separately for $100. And when you point out that they are cheaper and better separate, they say "no, it's better because it is bundled" as if the bundling itself is the value. It's confusion through a standard marketing ploy, but it works.
Of people who actually pay attention and use Spirit as intended, never had someone have a bad experience that I've spoken with. Some still don't prefer it, and everyone has their preferences, but I've been super happy with them.
One MAJOR caveat... no Spirit flights have entertainment. It's bring your own. For me, I prefer that because I prefer the dark and quiet of an entertainment-less flight. but lots of people depend on watching provided movies.

Yeah, every airline sucks sometimes. Delta was downright evil with it, though, like giving vouchers to male passengers but not female passengers all standing in the same line, at the same time, in the same situation.

It's seriously in your face. And people try to fly with WAY bigger luggage than allowed all of the time. For those of us that fly constantly, we check sizes and weights for every airline and always plan around that. People who fly once in a while often overlook packing requirements and run into problems.
Spirit is actually super lenient. We just flew them with loads and loads of stuff for free. I carried on three paintings, a huge backpack, all kinds of bottles of alcohol all in the free personal items limit.

And FAST! We've had MANY trans-atlantic flights where the sustained speed was over 600mph. Nothing more exciting than arriving at FRA on a non-stop over an hour ahead of schedule! Ah, the sweetness of more than 150,000 lbs of thrust!
One of these fast flights was quite interesting, we boarded at Detroit Metro and proceeded to the tarmac where the cabin door was re-opened and one of those stairs on a truck pulled up. The captain said we were "waiting for a special delivery", then the University of Michigan Survival Flight helicopter landed right next to us, a small box was run up the stairs and placed in the coat closet in first class. The helicopter left, the truck pulled away, and the airport was cleared so we could leave next. My wife an I watched in amazement as we quickly made it to and stayed at 612 mph for over six hours. When we landed at FRA, we stopped right on the runway where another truck with stairs pulled up, another helicopter landed, and the box was taken away by Alpine Air Ambulance. It was so cool to experience that part of the organ donor process. We never did hear what the organ was or who it was for, but it had to be special!

I'm sorry to hear.
We have always had great experiences with Delta. Domestic and International.
I'll say this though, when Northwest always used KLM for Europe, we LOVED KLM. Haven't flown KLM in years.
We started flying with Republic, who was bought by NorthWest, who was bought by Delta.

I do! One of the reasons I am so loyal to Delta, is because I was loyal to Northwest, because I was loyal to Republic. A groomsman's (in my wedding) father was a DC-9 pilot for all 3. He had a sweet route, nightly round trips from Detroit to Dulles.

That has been my experience as well. I usually do end up paying for exit rows because I am fat
but it really doesnt matter.One thing I always do before I book is duckduckgo the seating chart of the aircraft. There are always notes about good seats to pick and ones not to pick.
