Vultr just released Object Storage
-
Vultr just got into the Object Storage game. "S3 compatible."
-
I love Vultr, a lot. But their pricing is around 400% of Wasabi. So.... this falls into a "who cares" pricing category unless there is some crazy performance going on here.
-
@scottalanmiller I've not used Wasabi yet. Is there object storage offering the same as Vultr? In other words, does it have the same capabilities, etc?

Never heard of Wasabi until now. Pricing is very good.

Oh yeah, they are freaking amazing.
-
@scottalanmiller What is your use case for them? I use object storage right now for backups only.
-
Be careful with Wasabi. They are cheap, but after you delete something you are still charged for 90 days.
-
Here is a better explanation then I gave... this is why I shouldn’t sniff glue while posting...

They are excellent. Their speeds are decent too! I use them for off-site backups of my NextCloud and Plex. Up to ~2TB now.

Wasabi is my go-to provider for Synology backups to cloud. Best pricing out there and recovery is super-easy. This is built into their Hyper Backup application.

Been using Wasabi for several months now. Was using AWS S3 for several years prior. Haven't had any issue with Wasabi. Using the same tools, as it is S3 compatible.
