I have, but unaware that they got renamed, looked at the just the other day.
Any thoughts on it?
Most of their stuff is decent. Nothing spectacular, but it's mostly free which is really nice. I have no issue using their stuff when it makes sense. It's all a loss leader for their sales process and we found their sales calls to be so annoying that we gave up working with their stuff. But generally, it's not bad.

They require email and a phone number just to find out the installation requirements. Not something I'm willing to give given their history. I could make up email and numbers, I suppose.
-
Cool, makes sense. Thanks.
-
I signed up for Comondo a while ago, I get a few emails a week, that's all.
-
I would be interested in finding out your/their top picks.

Helpdesk as a category is such a mess. Zero budget for recurring costs makes it extra fun. I'll have to see if they want me to invest the time to test options.

But if you are okay with dealing with that stuff (or give fake ones) I've had no issue with their software.

We had a guy that just called and called. It was nuts.

I have been using it for the last 4 years and it is my personal RMM. No calls at all for me. Sure you get them once or twice at the beginning but that’s it.
-
Also although they have Linux and Mac agents there is no remote acess to them only Windows Agents.

Have you tried their helpdesk/service desk software?

We were pretty clear with them why we dropped them. Maybe they took that to heart and cut back.

Yes, I haven't had to use it daily but I get tickets daily about computer performance the closes themselves as you can see below:
I also was wrong, the Remote Control also has Mac Remote Control, just not Linux.

See their supported OS
-
For the Support Portal it looks as below
-
It also has a timer as soon as you start working on the Ticket
You can post internal notes
You can also transfer the ticket to other departments
You can also add inventory
You can also make appointments on it too
-
Thanks @dbeato. Itis helpful to see it.
-
A bit updated since we used it. But basically seems the same.
-
I could use something like this occasionally. Is this a good option for someone starting out new with this kind of software or would you all start with something else now?
