Time to compare some costs for insurance open enrollment decisions.Insurance stufff was handled here last week. No changes to plan but a price increase. Which means my paycheck went down by $10 a month.... /sigh (no pay raise this year).
I'm considering two of our higher deductible options. I don't think they're the right choice for me, but I'm curious to estimate some of the costs.
My choice is 2700, 4000 or 1500 if go without HSA.
Around here, $2700/month is considered a high pay rate, $4000/month you should be living like a king. That's crazy.
Those are deductibles.
Ah, that makes a lot more sense then. I must need to caffeinate this morning.

Ha! User unloaded a bit on me about how her having to stay late on Friday because of $Tier1Support led to her hitting a deer and totaling her car while driving home.
Note: Ticket was escalated to me on Friday. I reached out at 9:00 AM and offered to be available at any time other than during a team meeting that was scheduled for that morning. At 3:30 PM she responded asking to wait until Monday after 10:00 AM for troubleshooting.
Got to love users.

Been such a busy morning. Finally getting around to onboarding new staff.

Almost about to head to work but I was smart enough to log into Workday and found out its a holiday today.
Would've of been pretty sad arriving to work and I'm the only one there.

Yeah, supposed to be a holiday. We thought that onboarding people today would be good because it would be so slow.

It's a holiday for a few industries, not every industry. I'm at work today along with a lot of other people.

my company does a "holiday' today, but trades it for the friday after thanksgiving. So I work today but get that friday off with a paid holiday.

I sadly dont get the Friday after Thanksgiving off/ and that the day I go off on Call.
So im not too worried about it. -

Really sucks. I have had his "How To Draw Comics the Marvel Way" book for a long time. Big part of my childhood.
