      Symantec System Recovery 2013 R2 rapidly restores complete physical and virtual systems in minutes, not hours or days, even to dissimilar hardware, remote locations, or virtual environments for your customers.

      Extensive testing was done on this recent release that included 120 + successful Beta deployments globally. This update includes supportability improvements, bug fixes, new features and new platform support such as:

      • Windows 2012 R2 Update

      • Windows 8.1 Update1

      • SharePoint 2013 (without GRO)

      • VMWare ESXi 5.5

      • Support for Exchange 2013 (with GRO)

        Awesome! Rapid restore of physical to dissimilar is a really big deal.

          Awesome! Are you able to do P2V by means of restoring a physical machine's backups to a VM?

            That's what a dissimilar restore is, yes.
