Doing some NoMachine NX installs, trying it out for some remote access usage.
Installing using Chocolatey?
I did happen to test it on a Windows box, and did happen to use Chocolatey. Good guess. I'm testing on Deepin and Fedora now, too.
Works great on Fedora Gnome but only with X11.
Working great with Cinnamon.

Windows 10, I figured it out though.
Yeah, download the new installer, backup the configuration , stop the controller and run the upgrade.
