We are up for our renewal on our current spam filter and I am wondering what the masses here use?
The one provided by the Email service provider.
I have a coupe clients still with on prem, and they used Postini. Now Google Apps Message Security or WTF ever google calls. it. It sucks. BLocks fine and all that, but managebility sucks.

Mimecast, but we're going to phase out in favor of Office365's built in which does a very good job.

My general opinion of all Barracuda devices is that they are overpriced for what you get. It does it's job though and the support on it is pretty good. I wish it actually load balanced when clustered though and the clustering itself only applies to some of the configuration.

I wish they would have better explained the AD integration differences between the 300 and 400. The 300 has AD synching but doesn't do SSO so the end users have to have a separate password to login to see messages caught. Then I have users who don't know their password, can't figure out how to reset the password.

That's a pretty big deal. Can't expect anything out of users. Probably a very big headache for you.

The 300 one is pretty much non functional, we had a Spam 600 models but it was running 300 domains.

I don´t even check them, just delete them.

I think people here are looking for domain wide solutions that protect end users from phishing attacks and the like. You may be able to spot a phishing email, but many end users fail....

Yep. Knowbe4 just helps us prove it.
