End Users Cannot Attach Files in SpiceWorks Tickets Once Opened
-
This appears to be new behaviour. If I make a ticket in Spiceworks, I can attach assets to the ticket. But once it is opened through the portal, there is only the option to make comments, not to attach anything further. This is rather a pain, for obvious reasons as there is often a LOT that needs to be added.
Anyone know of a workaround without moving people out of the portal and into being techs with way too much access?

Can you email an attachment?

Yes, emails work, but the end users have atrocious signatures and makes the system unusable.

So far not, I have the same situation.

I can't find any way around it. Seems ridiculous. They can do it, but not in any simple way. So it isn't security, it's just bad GUI.

Send the attachment via email after the tickets created so the signature doesn’t screw everything up as bad
