Trying it out now. I just started to get familiar with htop.

I use htop, but usually end up using ps aux and then grepping what process I want to check.

I'm going to show my age here, I've always used ps -ef | grep. The aux switches weren't all available way back when IRIX was still a thing.

I get weird glances while I'm outside. . . does that count?

Between top and htop, I prefer htop. But that is not native installed on most distributions.

Given a choice, I also prefer glances

I have maybe 50+ linux boxes I access on a monthly basis and all of them have glances installed and I have never seen that.

I've seen it barf errors before when the right version of Python isn't set as the default.
