@dbeato Just tried that on a Server2012 and once restored i get a blue screen, so trying to work through it.

Probably because the XenServer Agent was installed on it.

Didn't think of that. Will retry after uninstalling it 🙂

What am I doing right now?... Everything. lol. It's a hit the ground running sort of day. Scheduling replacing some DVR drives, getting ready to replace two routers with downtime being a very frowned on thing, getting a patch fiber between two locations to go live, preparing for a meeting...

Yeah, I'm not going home at 5 today. lol

When I have gotten those on systems I P2V'ed, running the bootrec commands (fixboot, fixmbr, etc) usually sorted it.

You can do what rojo recommended, or just remove the drivers before you V2V.

Poo, Seems only my Debian based VM's have worked out of the box, my Fedora/CentOS have boot issues now.

First Call today was because of Credit Card Processing: Communication error
Since then we've had 6 calls all the same: Communication error.

Credit Card Processing company has a web page, Their Servers are down,
Think i figured out why no one with the processor is able to communicate and get cards Authorized!

That's not a power nap. That's an entire night's sleep for some of us!

This place is super quiet today. I know I've had conference calls all morning.

Sure glad it's quiet for you...:
-A router I replaced last night didn't have licenses transferred to it, so all phones in two departments were not working this morning. Played with that a bit, then just stuck the old one back in until I can contact cisco.
-The network was sporadically crawling when we got in this morning. going from a speedtest of 70Mbps to 0.2Mbps. It was up and down. I was initially assuming network loop.
-A fiber connection between two buildings died at the same time we unplugged another switch (to try to track down the network loop). The two have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Ended up being a bad port on a switch in one of the buildings.
-When that switch was unplugged and the other one's port died, the network stabilized.

I don't even know wtf at this point, and I'm a bit fried. Gonna try to dial back for a little bit then jump back on it with some more clarity.
